BLACK FRIDAY DEALS 2021: OUR PREDICTIONS

As shops compete for more limited wallets against tough online competition, Black Friday 2021 should continue last year’s trend of not only offering discounts, but offering discounts on products you’ll actually want to buy.

According to Adobe Analytics, consumer online spending increased by 21% in 2020, making it the second-largest online shopping day in US history, after only Cyber Monday 2019.

What were the biggest Black Friday moneymakers last year? Hot Wheels, Lego sets, AirPods, Apple Watches, Amazon Echo devices, and Samsung TVs were among the most popular things, according to Adobe.

We predict comparable deals on Apple’s latest devices, such as Airpods, the next Apple Watch, and 2021 iPads, during the Black Friday 2021 sales event. Amazon’s own products, as well as bargains on the year’s top toys and household equipment, should be heavily discounted.

Amazon has already given us a sneak preview with the debut of its Epic Prices sale, which promises “Black Friday-worthy” deals throughout the month of October in categories such as tech, appliances, fashion, beauty, toys, and Amazon’s own products, according to the store. So far, we’ve seen reductions on AirPods, OLED TVs, robot vacuums, and smart home products during Amazon’s sale, which can give us a preview of what Black Friday deals we can expect in November.

Best Buy and Walmart have also gotten in on the Black Friday action, introducing deals earlier this month. Both companies are attempting to compete with Amazon by slashing prices on 4K TVs, headphones, computers, toys, appliances, and other items. Best Buy is also giving a Black Friday Price Guarantee, guaranteeing that any products included in its early deals will not be discounted before Black Friday. You will be automatically refunded if they do so for some reason.

How do I get the best Black Friday deals in 2021?

When looking for the greatest Black Friday offers, homework can be really beneficial. Don’t be deceived by price increases from August to October in order to provide ostensibly great Black Friday deals.

They’re especially common in high-end consumer goods like TVs and laptops, with products that were previously discounted to a great deal being moved back to their MSRP.

It’s also a good idea to be adaptable: if you want a Samsung UHD TV, for example, think about the characteristics you want rather than the model number: Although the BRV553ABD34-82C-9218-X is unlikely to be reduced on Black Friday 2021, a virtually identical set with the specifications you require is likely to be.

So do your homework on what counts, and we’ll do our best to help you find the finest Black Friday deals.

However, don’t be deceived into thinking that a set that appears like a five-star set is the same but costs less; certain parts (typically in terms of screen quality or image processing) will be inferior quality to attain the lower price point.

Black Friday and shipping delays: what it means

Black Friday sales are starting earlier than ever, with Amazon’s Epic Deals kicking off the holiday shopping season on October 4. Walmart, Best Buy, and Target have all launched their own early Black Friday bargains event, with discounts on AirPods, TVs, toys, air fryers, vacuums, and more.

So, what’s the big rush? In reaction to inventory shortages and anticipated shipment delays, retailers are pushing deals earlier than ever before. Retailers are concerned about keeping items in stock for the holidays, and Walmart has taken steps to lease its own vessels to facilitate product movement. According to Adobe, out-of-stock notifications on the internet are predicted to increase by 172 percent over last year, so if you’re looking for a certain item, you should start looking immediately.

The good news is that businesses are aware that people are already shopping for holiday gifts, which is why Black Friday offers are being released sooner than ever before. We’ve also been blown away by the deals so far, which have included record-low prices on OLED TVs, AirPods, Dyson Vacuums, iPads, coffee makers, and more.

Best Buy, for example, is offering a Black Friday price guarantee, guaranteeing that any product included in its early promotions will not be reduced in price prior to Black Friday. If this happens, Best Buy will give you a complete refund for the difference.

If you insist on waiting until Black Friday to obtain a deal, bear in mind that stock will be more restricted than in previous years, so do your research ahead of time to ensure you receive the greatest Black Friday offers.

BLACK FRIDAY DEALS: FAQS

When is Black Friday 2021?

When is Black Friday in the year 2021? This year’s official Black Friday date is November 26, 2021. Every year, the exact date changes, but the day of the week remains the same: it’s always the Friday following Thanksgiving

What Black Friday deals can I shop for now?

As a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic, retailers attempted to offer a safer shopping experience by launching Black Friday deals earlier than ever before. With more and more shops on the web than ever before, we also saw a shift to the competitive field of online sales.

So, how does this affect the Black Friday sale in 2021? Retailers are gearing up for expected shipping delays, Black Friday sales are starting sooner than ever before.

Amazon kicked off the holiday event with its Epic Deals sale, which was launched at the beginning of October. Every day, the retail giant has announced fresh “Black Friday-worthy” offers from leading brands like Apple, Sony, Samsung, Instant Pot, and others. So far, the early Black Friday offers have left us very pleased, with record-low prices on OLED TVs, AirPods, vacuums, and other items.

Walmart kicked out its initial Black Friday 2021 sale with an early preview deals of TVs, toys, laptops, and household appliances, to highlight a few items. Walmart will have 3 separate Black Friday sales throughout November, two of which Walmart+ members will have privileged early access to.

Best Buy, not to be surpassed, Best Buy has also rolled out Black Friday deals with four-day flash sales that began on October 18. The best part about Best Buy’s early Black Friday sale is the
Black Friday Price Guarantee, which guarantees that no products in the sale will be cheaper before Black Friday. You will be automatically refunded if they do so for some reason.

Target is getting in on the action with its Holiday Best Deals sale, which includes early Black Friday deals in every category throughout the holiday shopping season. The retailer is attempting to compete with Amazon by giving discounts on electronics, appliances, toys, clothing, furniture, and home decor, among other things. Target is also offering a holiday price match guarantee, which means that if the price of an item you purchase drops before Christmas Eve, Target will price match it, ensuring that you get the greatest value possible.

You can get a jump start on your Christmas shopping with early Black Friday offers, and you won’t have to worry about your gifts arriving on time. We’ve compiled a selection of the hottest bargains from your favorite merchants so you can start shopping immediately.

Where are the best places to find Black Friday deals?

Microsoft: save up to $400 on the Surface Pro 7

WHY IS IT CALLED BLACK FRIDAY?

Let’s look at some history to see why it’s called Black Friday: the term “Black Friday” was first used in relation to this shopping experience in November 1951, when the journal Factory Management and Maintenance used it to describe people calling in sick the day after Thanksgiving so they could take an extra day off.

Simultaneously, US cops adopted the term “Black Friday” and “Black Saturday” to characterize the terrible traffic that greeted the start of the pre-Christmas shopping season.

The local government attempted to change the shopping season to “Big Friday” and “Big Saturday” in 1961, but the idea failed to catch on. The idea that it was the moment when shops went “back into the black” came much later, and was clearly an attempt to make the term more positive.
