X-Series gaming laptops are one of Alienware’s best-selling product categories. And it is extending into new areas with new X-Series models. With the premium build quality and lower profiles, the new Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 are aimed at the gaming market and are the thinnest 15-inch and 17-inch gaming laptops from the business.

“The X-Series was designed to meet the needs of our community. We made sure to deliver more than just your basic thin gaming laptop to our customers. We wanted to shake things up and start a new mobile gaming experience, and that’s exactly what we’ve done”, Said Vivian Lien, vice president of Gaming for Dell Technologies, stated in a blog post.

The new Cryo-Tech system is included in the X-Series laptops, featuring an updated thermal interface material (available on specific configurations). To reduce the spikes in core temperatures, the system uses technology to diffuse heat.

Alienware’s new unique Quad Fan technology employs AI to increase application performance. And a new innovative Smart Fan management system leverages it to help keep things cool during intense gaming sessions.

Intel i7 or i9 H-series mobile processors, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics, with the potential for increased graphics power of up to 110W on the x15 and 165W on the x17, are available for the X-Series laptops.

With the 15 and 17-inch variants, you may choose between 16GB or 32GB ( DDR4 3200MHz) memory options, while the bigger model accommodates 32GB or 64GB ( DDR4 3200MHz) (DDR4 XMP 3466MHz). In a single storage configuration, any device is capable of storing up to 2TB of data, while in a dual-drive configuration, it is possible to store up to 4TB.

Two high-definition LCD panels (refresh rates: 60Hz or 120Hz) and one ultra-high-definition LCD panel (refresh rate: 100Hz) are included in the display options. The X-series models feature an IR camera to facilitate speedy facial biometric logins using Windows Hello.

The 17-inch variant is available with an optional CherryMX mechanical laptop keyboard that has 1.8mm key travel for customers who wish to utilize a mechanical keyboard.

87 W-hour lithium-ion battery with Alienware Battery Defender technology is included in the X-Series laptops. Additionally, an Alienware-branded 240W power adaptor is available for each model to make portability more convenient.

The x17 (x15 on the Alienware Command Center) can have a sophisticated AlienFX lighting experience with 100 micro-LEDs. The Alien head, keyboard, and power button lights can also be customized.

Beginning June 15, the new Alienware x15 pricing will start at $1,999 (about ₹1,46,000) while the new Alienware x17 will cost $2,099 (about ₹1,53,400).
