As if the number of leaks for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is not enough, there are new ones in the queue before of its June 10 launch. The latest leaks included a video teaser for the phone that displays its design, certain specifications, and three colour variations. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 processor will be used in the new OnePlus Nord CE smartphone, which will also have an Always-on Display (AOD) feature that was introduced in the OnePlus Nord smartphone with the Android 11 upgrade. There is an as-yet unconfirmed suggestion, meanwhile, that the OnePlus team is working on a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-powered phone. Since OnePlus One was debuted in 2014, the firm has only used Qualcomm SoCs for their phones.

Oneplus Nord Launch

As expected, the promotional video for the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G was posted on Twitter by Evan Blass (@evleaks) last week and contains some fresh details. It notes the Snapdragon 750 chipset, which had only been reported about previously. Always-on Display and a single hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera are included in the phone. Even though the OnePlus Nord smartwatch arrived in January last year, it received the Android 11 upgrade that also includes AOD. Another prior source said the 5G-capable OnePlus Nord CE 5G phone will have a fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

So far, two OnePlus Nord CE 5G colour variants have leaked – Charcoal Ink and Blue Void. The official OnePlus Instagram account has already verified the name ‘Blue Void’ and the latest marketing video displays a third colour with a shimmering Silver finish.

OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 5G and the OnePlus TV U1S series in India on second week of June.

On the other side, a Weibo tipster with the pseudonym Digital Chat Station (translated) who operates from China and goes by the moniker “Kooky Contact (untranslated)” announced that OnePlus is developing a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC-powered phone. If this rumour proves out to be accurate, it will be the first time OnePlus has used MediaTek instead of Qualcomm SoCs on a phone.

While the source adds that this phone would include a flat display with a single hole-punch cutout on the top left, it should be noted that it does not include a bezel around the screen. Comparable to the OnePlus 9 Pro, this phone is likely to include a similar camera module as well as a flash module in place of the fourth sensor. Rumoured to contain a triple back camera array, and according to the tipster, the main camera might be a Sony IMX766 sensor, this means the rumoured OnePlus phone would contain a 3-camera system. The same sensor that is in the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro’s ultra-wide-angle camera is found in this phone’s ultra-wide-angle camera.

According to the leak, new OnePlus phone would run OxygenOS and could cost about Rs. 22,900 (about $343). While OnePlus has yet to disclose any information about this alleged phone, it should be noted that
