Huawei Smart Screen X65 is a 65-inch OLED TV with HDR10 support. The TV has a total brightness of 1,000 nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and the firm also says TUV Rheinland certifies the display for eye safety. As reported earlier, TV has a 14-speaker under-display sound system composed of six full-range speakers, six high tweeters, and two lower woofers.
The TV runs on Huawei’s patented HarmonyOS (also called as HongmengOS), is driven by Honghu 898 processor designed specifically for OLED TVs, has 6 GB of RAM & 128 GB of internal memory. RAM and storage are dramatically higher than we’re used to seeing on smart tv sets, indicating that Huawei might require storage on Smart Screen X65 for more than just applications and device info. Furthermore, the form of software available may be more versatile than we usually see on smart televisions. There’s a 24-megapixel pop-up camera, enabling people to use TV for video calls and other phone-based applications.
The Huawei Smart Screen X65 is at its price in the luxury segment, close to Huawei’s placement of its top-end smartphones such as the newly released Huawei P40 series. Huawei’s second major tv product since the Huawei Smart Screen V75 debuted in late 2019. It’s uncertain whether the new television will be launched in India or any other foreign markets outside China.
