There has never been a formal method to utilise Snapchat on a computer before, but there is one now.

On Monday, the social media firm unveiled Snapchat for Web, a web browser extension that lets you carry on your Snapchat discussions. You will be able to make and receive audio and video calls in addition to sending text-based Snaps.

Although the firm didn’t provide a timeline, their release stated that they will eventually make this new function available to all of their customers, paid or not. Currently, the service is only available to Snapchat Plus members, which costs $4 per month.

Here’s how Snapchat works on computers if you have a Snapchat Plus subscription.

Here’s how to use Snapchat on Computer?

Open Chrome or Edge and navigate to web.snapchat.com to access Snapchat for Web on your computer. After that, sign in using your Snapchat account. Unfortunately, for the time being, you cannot use Safari or Firefox or any other web browser to access Snapchat for Web.

Once you’ve logged in, you may use your computer to send messages and conduct audio and video conversations. While Lenses won’t be available for a while, popular features like Chat Reactions and Chat Reply are still available.

Only Snapchat Plus customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, as well as all Snapchat users in Australia and New Zealand, have access to Snapchat for Web.
