It’s unfortunate that God of War Ragnarok is starting to leak after Santa Monica Studio tried to disclose as little of the game as possible prior to release. The creator subsequently issued a statement begging fans to keep plot details to themselves. It continues by saying it’s trying to “restrict the dissemination of unauthorised material” but “cannot catch everything,” despite its best efforts.
The developer goes on to advise gamers to mute certain game-related hashtags or phrases up until launch day. Of course, it’s heartbreaking that it’s come to this, but we suppose that’s just how the world works.
God of War Ragnarok had already had some of its content spoiled by a stupid reviewer earlier in the month, but now things are going to become really crazy as stores start to release games after their scheduled release dates. Even two weeks before its scheduled debut, virtually little is known about the highly anticipated sequel that Santa Monica Studio has been keeping a secret.
However, now that the game is in the hands of the players, it will be challenging to avoid some of the spoilers that will unavoidably surface. The former God of War’s director, Cory Barlog, tweeted his displeasure in response to the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 scenar.
