Sony Reveals Free And Premium Games Lineup For March 2023 For Playstation Plus Subscribers

Sony has surprised PlayStation Plus subscribers by revealing the free games lineup for March 2023, along with what subscribers to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers can expect. The announcement was made during Sony’s latest PlayStation State of Play event, which showcased a range of upcoming games for PS4, PS5, and PlayStation VR2.

The free PS Plus games for March 2023 will include Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein, and will be available to subscribers from March 7. While Battlefield 2042 will be playable on both PS5 and PS4, Minecraft Dungeons and Code Vein will only be available on PS4, although they can be played on the PS5 through backward compatibility.

In addition to the free games, Sony also revealed that the highly anticipated indie game Tchia will be a day one game for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers when it launches on March 21. The company also confirmed some of the games that will be available on the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers in March 2023, including Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Sony’s State of Play events have become known for their surprise PS Plus reveals, with the company previously confirming the day one release of Stray at a similar event. The announcement of the March 2023 lineup should significantly boost the value of the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers, giving PlayStation gamers even more reason to sign up.

While fans have a lot to look forward to in March, there is still time to claim the free PS Plus games for February 2023, which were recently added. With a range of exciting games available across all tiers of PlayStation Plus, subscribers should have plenty to keep them busy in the coming months.
