According to a tweet sent by the business on Monday, the upcoming State of Play preview event hosted by Sony will take place on September 13 at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. In a following tweet, Sony stated, “We’ll have some wonderful updates from our outstanding Japanese partners and developers all across the world.” “Expect around twenty minutes worth of coverage on ten forthcoming games,” the speaker said.
There was no additional information provided regarding the games that will be displayed; however, Sony has repeatedly focused on PS VR2 titles during the past two events, seemingly with the intention of teasing all of the nearly two dozen “major” titles that are scheduled to launch simultaneously with the next generation headset. These titles include those from the Among Us and Horizon franchises.
The State of Play will be broadcast live on both the Twitch and YouTube platforms that are associated with PlayStation. Tomorrow will be a special day for gamers, since this event will take place in the afternoon, immediately following Nintendo’s next Direct webcast, which will take place on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
